Very Happy with Tech Sew and my 202 Pro.

As a hobbyist most of my work is in leather and fur. To this point ,most if not all my work has been by hand.
My first project with the Tec Sew 202 was a men's Red Fox Bomber Jacket.The fur alone was over $1000.00 so it justified having a proper machine. The Tec Sew did not disappoint.
The You Tube Tech Sew’s ,Fur Institute of Canada and a cute gal with nose ring (Saga Furs)Videos guided me through the unchartered waters as a beginner. The machine is really quiet and very precise. It has variable motor speed and castors on the table. The threading and tension system is super simple and easy. The set up and tutorial was clear and without any problems to complete and as advertised was “ready to sew”.
Overall the design is excellent but would be really cool if the table had a crank height adjustment like a hospital bedside table. I have not yet had the pleasure of needing the tech support (which says a lot)but look forward to it when I need it.

Let me start with - I am a long time trapper. When the fur market dropped, I decided to spend the money to have my furs tanned and save them. Now, having quite a collection of furs, I decided it was time to try to sew them into products, myself. So (no pun intended), on the advice of an industry insider and with Ron's guidance - I decided to purchase the Techsew 202 Pro machine. I have sewn projects in the past, including a down sleeping bag. But, I would not call myself an expert at sewing.

Though the set-up and start-up information had some holes, the support team was wonderful. In, no time, they had answered my questions and I was up and running. This is a wonderful machine. It does the job I needed it to do. The motor is very powerful, even at very slow start-up speeds. Once set-up, I discovered that all settings of thread and feeder disk tensions were correctly set by TechSew for my initial projects. I've done two projects, so far, one in skunk and the other in beaver.

Let me add, here, that the packaging used in shipping was great. Everything arrived in mint condition.

If you've never used this type of machine before, you need to know that it has a very specific use. It does one type of stitch in one direction. But, it does it very well. I've sewn two layers of beaver fur with a layer of neoprene in between with no hesitation or issues.

This machine is simple to use, powerful and built to last a lifetime. I've found that machinery built well, tends to have an aesthetic elegance. This machine has that.

Set up was fairly easy and straightforward. Had a few questions about operating the machine customer service was quick and super helpful. I haven’t had much time to use the machine yet but for the few things I’ve had it’s been a phenomenal unit so far!

I have bought two different machines from Techsew recently. I was very pleased of how well everything went, considering the machines were transported across Canada to my door step in excellent condition. The staff was very helpful, and their customer service was very much appreciated

I really enjoy my new Techsew 202 Pro. The machine is very consistent and durable. I haven’t broken a single needle yet, which is a major pain point with other lighter duty fur sewers. The ability to limit the motor speed makes it great for teaching beginners on!

Overall excellent machine & support. The supplementary material and videos generally need a bit of updating as there were a number of differences, mostly subtle but important and lent to some confusion during set up. I was a complete newbie and this machine was the first fur machine I've seen close up and then operated. I'm happy with the sheepskin sewing work I've done so far but I'm still in the learning phase.

Everything we have done with Techsew has been excellent, we are new to the fur sewing and just learning but would not hesitate to do more business with Techsew and highly recommend them!
