Shipping Information- Read Carefully


FOR PARTS AND ACCESSORIES

Parts, accessories and thread are shipped via UPS, USPS or Canada Post.  Most orders are shipped within 48 hours.  Transit time varies based on the service selected at the time of the order. To track your order:

Tracking information is not available for USPS Standard shipping.  Transit time is approximately 7-10 business days.  For UPS orders, you must provide a physical delivery address as they cannot deliver to a PO Box.

FOR INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINES

Industrial sewing machines and heavy equipment are shipped on a shipping pallet. The table unit will be preassembled, the machine head will be packaged securely in a box or crate and strapped down to the shipping pallet.

Deliveries are made at the curbside with a full-size semi-truck ranging from 20 to 53 feet in length. It will not be a box truck like a UPS or Fedex truck.

The equipment can be offloaded from the truck one piece at a time (table, then machine head box) and brought indoors. We recommend having 2 people available at the time of the delivery to offload the equipment, inspect the shipment and sign the delivery documents.

LEAD TIME AND TRANSIT TIME

For most machinery and heavy equipment, lead time is approximately 2-3 weeks prior to shipping depending on our order volume. This allows us to assemble, prepare, test and inspect your machine as well as prepare it for shipment. Once shipped, time in transit is approximately 5-7 business day depending on your location (USA and Canada only). Transit time for international shipments can range from approximately 1 week for air freight to 6-8 weeks for ocean freight. Tracking information will be emailed to you once the equipment has shipped.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY INFORMATION

The truck driver is not responsible for bringing the equipment into your home. They will move the pallet to the end of the truck, and you are responsible for offloading the equipment and bringing it indoors. If you select liftgate service at the time of your order, the driver will lower the pallet to the ground level only. We recommend having 2 people available at the time of the delivery.

Residential deliveries – the shipping company will contact you (typically 1-2 days ahead of time) to set a delivery appointment. Weekend deliveries are not available. The delivery will be made at the curbside. You will be responsible for offloading the equipment directly from the truck. We recommend having 2 people available at the time of the delivery. If you would like the truck driver to lower the pallet to the ground level, you must select liftgate service at the time of your order. It cannot be added afterwards.

Commercial deliveries – For deliveries to a commercial/business address, the shipping company will NOT contact you ahead of time. They will deliver during standard business hours. You will be responsible for offloading the equipment directly from the truck, either at the curbside or your shipping dock. If you would like the driver to lower the pallet to the ground level, you must select liftgate service at the time of your order. It cannot be added afterwards.

Inspecting for damages – Immediately after offloading the equipment from the truck and before signing any delivery documents, it is best to completely remove the pallet wrapping and packing materials and carefully inspect the table unit and machine box for damages, dents, large scratches or broken parts. If there are any damages, you must write PRODUCTS DAMAGED on the delivery receipt, then you may sign and accept the delivery. Please contact us immediately afterwards so we can replace any damaged parts or file a damage insurance claim if necessary.

If you sign the delivery receipt stating the equipment was received in good condition, we cannot file an insurance claim in the event of damages and you will be responsible for purchasing and installing replacement parts 100% at your cost. Do not reject the delivery, you will be charged for re-delivery of the equipment.

Note that industrial machinery is a commercial product and minor imperfections such as paint chips or scratches can be expected on the table, legs and machine. These do not affect the performance of a machine and are not subject to damage insurance claims.

We recommend keeping the original boxes and packing materials in case transport of the machine is required in the future.
